Wikis
Wikis are really impressive in their potential for assisting in the communication between individuals in a group without constant emails. Its like a blackboard on which the members of the group can add to or amend information. Its usefulness in a library(for staff) is its group accessibility, and for the public, a means of contributing their views to an open diary if you like

Wikis work well across geographical boundaries too - I think we'll find lots of uses for them in NSW.
