Learner Blogger

This is my first blog and Im happy to report that the instructions were ridiculously easy - thank you to the creators of this learning programme for making it so staightforward.

As with any firsttimer in the learning process, the success or failure in continuing to learn is the degree of success in your first attempt. In the learning process in the library with new clients, learning must be enjoyable, interesting and accessable otherwise potential new clients wont consider the library as a contemporary resource.

To remain a centre for learning and information, our library implements programmes (within a limited budget) to encourage senior citizens, young adults and children to come and use our resources. Internet access, blogging, you tubing and computer based activities are part of the modern library's way of remaing fresh and relevant to all age groups and gaining expertise in blogging is a great way of keeping staff in the contemporary learning loop. Now all we have to do is raise our profile so the large proportion of potential library users see us as a"first point of knowledge acquisition" and not the last.
